Senior Associate – Import & Export Operations

About the role

The Senior Associate will play a critical role in Alcon's Transportation Management function, ensuring operational excellence for import and export logistics. Acting as a subject‑matter expert, the incumbent will train end‑users, maintain data integrity across the Transportation Management System (TMS) and SAP, and monitor carrier service levels to meet delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide training and support to TMS end‑users, serving as the logistics planning SME.
• Maintain accurate TMS and SAP data, handling exceptions promptly.
• Monitor carrier performance against KPIs and act as a “Control Tower” for regional shipments.
• Collaborate with global supply‑chain teams to identify cost‑saving and service‑improvement opportunities.
• Support new program launches, promotional activities, and network redesign initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years in logistics or transportation planning.
• Hands‑on experience with TMS (Blue Yonder) and SAP ERP integrations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and SAP BI reporting.
