Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Buyer you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, machinery, and services for state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate across teams, manage inventory, schedule deliveries, negotiate with suppliers and ensure timely procurement of essential items.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, change orders and RFQs, maintaining regular communication with suppliers.
• Manage purchase orders based on MRP signals and follow up on deliveries, approvals and payments.
• Handle receipt management, shortage expedites and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Enter and maintain procurement data such as lead times and costs in business systems.
• Conduct vendor analysis, cost‑saving negotiations and develop procurement policies.
• Utilize SAP MM, SAP ERP and Excel for end‑to‑end P2P processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–9 years of experience in global supply‑chain or engineering buying.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including a 02 PM‑11 PM shift.
