About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Supplier Account Manager (B4) to develop and execute commodity strategies, manage supplier agreements and drive supply‑chain improvements for its semiconductor and display equipment business in Bangalore.

Key responsibilities

Develops, aligns and implements commodity strategies.
Negotiates and maintains supplier agreements that define business relationships.
Leads new supplier introductions and disengagements.
Resolves systemic supply‑chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead‑time, including sub‑tier engagement.
Identifies and presents high‑level cost‑reduction opportunities.

Required profile

Demonstrates depth and breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline.
Leads functional teams or projects with moderate complexity.
Solves complex problems using sophisticated analytical judgment.
Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates differing points of view.
