Senior Accountant

About the role

Volvo Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Global Finance team. You will play a key role in managing payment processes, supporting both group and non‑group entities, and ensuring accurate financial operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage payment proposal batches, including urgent payments for various companies.
• Process payment rejections, incoming payments, and refunds.
• Prepare work instructions and capture new inputs promptly.
• Support team members by handling queries in the absence of a supervisor.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment‑related issues.
• Follow up on pending documents to ensure timely payments.
• Maintain awareness of controls related to the payment process.

Required profile

• Commerce graduate or MBA (Finance) degree.
• 5–8 years of experience in payments processing and full P2P cycle knowledge.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work any shift as needed.

Required skills

• SAP (mandatory).
