Finance Business Partner - Tax & Reporting

About the role

The Finance Business Partner – Tax & Reporting will support the CFO of APM Terminals’ Gateway Terminal India, driving management accounting, tax compliance, treasury, and audit coordination. The role translates financial data into actionable insights for business decisions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and business segment financials; develop business models for decision‑making.
• Coordinate group reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and internal controls.
• Manage direct tax, GST, TDS, and transfer pricing compliance; handle tax audits, litigation support, and liaison with tax authorities.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, bank reconciliations, and placement of surplus funds.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification; CPA, MBA Finance or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance business partnering, FP&A, management reporting, and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS, GST, transfer pricing, and treasury management.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP and group reporting systems.
