Senior Analyst – External Reporting Support

About the role

Momentive Business Services seeks a Senior Analyst to support the Controllership and External Reporting functions within its Global Finance Shared Services team in Bangalore. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate external financial reporting in line with IFRS/K‑IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in external reporting to ensure compliance with IFRS/K‑IFRS regulations.
• Conduct accounting technical research, write issue memos, and review IFRS/K‑IFRS reporting matters.
• Maintain SOX 404 documentation and perform related testing.
• Support the annual external audit process and resolve accounting, auditing, and reporting issues.
• Prepare quarterly IFRS consolidations, footnotes, pension accounting, hedge accounting, and lease compliance.
• Administer the Lease Accelerator Tool and support K‑SOX compliance efforts.
• Coordinate US GAAP to IFRS convergence entries and financial statements.

Required profile

• CA/ACCA/CPA qualification with 4‑5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (K‑IFRS preferred) and basic understanding of SOX 404.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
