Senior Accountant – Finance & Compliance

About the role

CEECO International is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to oversee day‑to‑day accounting, statutory compliance and financial reporting. The role will ensure accurate books, manage receivables/payables, handle GST/TDS filings and provide timely financial insights for management. This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Taliparamba, Kannur.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, record daily transactions, and perform regular bank and cash reconciliations.
• Prepare and issue invoices, process supplier invoices, manage accounts receivable and payable ageing, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare periodic profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and monthly/quarterly management reports.
• Develop budgets, financial projections, and variance analyses to support business decisions.
• Handle GST accounting, filing, reconciliation and resolve related discrepancies.
• Calculate, deduct, and file TDS and income‑tax returns, and coordinate with auditors for annual assessments.
• Prepare documentation for statutory and internal audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, and income‑tax regulations.
• Proven ability to prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet statutory deadlines.
