About the role
The Relationship Manager will drive growth by acquiring new small‑enterprise clients and deepening relationships with existing accounts. This role focuses on credit analysis, portfolio hygiene, and cross‑selling a range of banking solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Source new‑to‑bank (NTB) clients in the small enterprise segment (turnover up to ₹150 Cr) through market intelligence and networking.
- Manage and grow the existing client portfolio, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed credit notes for both new and existing clients, aligning proposals with the bank’s credit policies.
- Coordinate with internal credit teams for proposal discussions, approvals, and client communication.
- Maintain portfolio hygiene by overseeing renewals, limit compliance, documentation, and early‑warning monitoring.
- Identify and act on cross‑selling opportunities across trade finance, treasury, cash management, insurance, and working‑capital solutions.
Required profile
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2‑3 years of experience in corporate/SME/ME banking.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial statements.
- Excellent relationship‑management and communication abilities.
- Proven track record of driving business while managing risk effectively.
