Relationship Manager – Group Credit Life Insurance

About the role

The Relationship Manager will lead the growth of the Group Credit Life insurance portfolio across the assigned region. You will identify market opportunities, build strategic partnerships with banks, NBFCs and other financial institutions, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets for Group Credit Life insurance.
• Identify market opportunities, potential clients and partnership prospects to expand the portfolio.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to adapt business strategies.
• Drive sales initiatives and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients such as banks, NBFCs and other financial institutions.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements or contracts with partners and clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Oversee onboarding of new group credit life schemes and timely processing of policies.
• Monitor service delivery quality, including claims handling and premium collection.
• Prepare and submit regular business reports, forecasts and analysis to senior management.
• Analyze performance data, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance and marketing to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
• Participate in product development and market feedback loops.

Required profile

• Proven experience in life insurance sales, preferably within bancassurance or credit life segments.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills with financial institutions.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and performance metrics.
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements governing group credit life insurance.
