About the role
The Quality Control (QC) Engineer will ensure that steel fabrication products meet regulatory standards, safety requirements, and company specifications. The role involves inspecting raw materials, performing product testing, and maintaining quality documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials and in‑process components against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform product testing and draft Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any deviations.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve process quality.
Required profile
- 2 to 3 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a steel manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements for steel fabrication.
