Senior Procurement Engineer – PLC & Automation

About the role

Actemium, a brand of VINCI Energies, is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer with strong experience in PLC and industrial automation procurement. The role covers end‑to‑end sourcing of automation systems and components to support project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Procure PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, drives, motors, panels, field instruments and other automation components.
• Interpret BOMs, technical specifications and drawings in coordination with engineering teams.
• Manage vendors/OEMs such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Rockwell and develop alternate sourcing strategies.
• Prepare RFQs, conduct techno‑commercial comparisons and lead price negotiations.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders in ERP, track deliveries and ensure timely material availability.
• Drive cost optimisation, supplier performance improvement and localisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation.
• Strong exposure to project‑based procurement in manufacturing, EPC or automation projects.
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics/ERP systems and import procurement is preferred.
