Product Owner - Agile Delivery & Product Vision

About the role

Synechron is looking for a Product Owner with 7-12 years of experience to define and communicate product vision and strategy in line with business goals. The role manages the product backlog, engages stakeholders, guides delivery teams and uses market and customer insights to support product decisions, connecting business needs with engineering, design and data science capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Articulate and champion the product vision and strategy, translating business goals, customer needs and stakeholder input into an actionable product roadmap.
• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, define acceptance criteria and craft detailed user stories.
• Engage stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, clarify priorities and manage expectations.
• Lead the development team through each iteration, provide timely decisions and collaborate with engineering, design, data science, QA and other cross-functional teams.
• Conduct market research, analyze user feedback and product data, and support sprint planning, reviews, demos, retrospectives and release planning.
• Maintain traceability between objectives, backlog items, acceptance criteria and outcomes, and measure performance on customer value, adoption, quality and delivery predictability.

Required profile

• 7-12 years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, technology delivery or a similar role.
• Demonstrable experience managing product lifecycles in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Proven experience defining product vision, maintaining and prioritizing backlogs, creating user stories and estimating work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with at least one backlog and work-management tool, with experience managing epics, features, user stories, tasks, priorities and workflows.
• Experience with sprint planning, burndown metrics, velocity tracking, release planning and task definition.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile delivery tools; ability to learn the tools adopted by Synechron or the delivery team.
• Preferred: experience with road-mapping, portfolio management, analytics dashboards, prototyping/wireframing, requirements traceability, and security and privacy awareness.
