Operational Lead

About the role

The Operational Lead will oversee daily warehouse operations for direct‑to‑consumer distribution, ensuring order fulfillment, inventory accuracy and cold‑chain integrity while meeting customer satisfaction and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, order picking, packing and shipping, optimizing processes to meet daily order targets.
• Manage cold‑chain handling and cut‑off timelines, ensuring quality and SOP adherence.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits and daily stock audit reports.
• Supervise, train and schedule warehouse staff, contract associates, security and transportation resources.
• Coordinate with vendors to secure necessary resources and maintain service level agreements.
• Leverage the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and orders efficiently.
• Process vendor invoices in SAP according to PR/PO procedures.
• Resolve order discrepancies promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Enforce safety, labor and regulatory compliance, including cold‑chain requirements.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators such as order accuracy, delivery timelines, inventory turnover and productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading warehouse or distribution teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, cold‑chain logistics and SOP adherence.
• Ability to manage shift schedules and peak‑period staffing.
• Experience collaborating with procurement, sales and third‑party vendors.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
