Inventory Controller

About the role

The Inventory Controller will support Maersk’s Fulfillment & Logistics Operations by managing inventory, warehouse and fulfilment activities across various facility types. This position works within a structured environment, applying standard processes while also identifying and resolving routine issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for CFS, CY, inland depots, bonded warehouses and other facilities.
• Execute day‑to‑day inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
• Support warehouse teams with administrative tasks and data entry to ensure timely reporting.
• Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes and escalate non‑routine problems as needed.
• Follow established safety and compliance procedures while handling inventory.

Required profile

• Limited prior experience in inventory or warehouse operations, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work under supervision.
• Good attention to detail and basic numeracy skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
