Inventory Incharge

About the role

The Inventory Incharge will oversee all inventory activities at APM Terminals, ensuring accurate stock records, timely inbound processing and alignment with client requirements. Reporting to the DC Manager, the role combines operational oversight with data‑driven analysis to support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day inventory transactions including put‑away, picking, bin audits, bin consolidation and full inventory audits.
• Train and coach ground‑team members on operational standards and the importance of inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and bin hygiene; validate daily records and investigate any gaps between the WMS and ERP (SAP), providing root‑cause analysis.
• Produce and publish MIS reports, key performance metrics and regular dashboards.
• Support value‑added services (VAS) and ensure 5S standards are upheld on the warehouse floor.

Required profile

• Graduate with 3–4 years of experience in inventory or stock management.
• Proactive, “go‑get‑er” attitude with strong problem‑solving mindset.
• Commitment to organisational culture, values and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP ERP.
• Solid understanding of data‑analytics concepts for trend analysis and space planning.
