Supply Chain Manager – Procurement & Planning

About the role

In this role, the Supply Chain Manager leads the supply chain team, driving procurement execution, material planning, and supplier performance to ensure on‑time delivery, inventory optimization, and system efficiency. The position supports Armstrong Fluid Technology’s operational excellence and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Drive on‑time delivery (OTD) across all suppliers and value streams, overseeing daily shortage and backlog reviews.
• Oversee procurement execution, ensuring buyers act on purchase requisitions promptly and in correct quantities.
• Lead material planning and inventory optimization, reviewing MRP signals and coordinating with global demand planners.
• Monitor and improve supply chain performance using PDCA methodology and key metrics such as lead time and fill rate.
• Strengthen supplier management through performance reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and coach buyer‑planner teams, aligning responsibilities to product families and value streams.
• Implement and optimize supply chain systems, including Kinaxis advanced planning and LN ERP workflows.
• Integrate supply chain processes for new product introductions, regional expansions, and strategic projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering; MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
• 10–15 years of experience in supply chain, procurement and logistics within a configured manufacturing environment.
• APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and/or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred.
