On‑site HSE Officer – Safety Officer (India)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to lead daily safety operations on our large‑scale construction and manufacturing projects across India. The role is fully on‑site and focuses on reducing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a safety‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site HSE policies, procedures and Permit‑to‑Work systems.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses, HIRA studies and routine safety audits; close non‑conformances.
• Lead incident and near‑miss investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and on‑the‑job coaching to promote safe behaviours and PPE use.
• Coordinate emergency response drills, first‑aid readiness and fire‑safety preparedness with contractors.
• Maintain HSE records, prepare compliance reports and support third‑party audits.

Required profile

• Diploma/degree in Safety, Industrial/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Proven hands‑on experience in construction, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Valid first‑aid or onsite medical responder certification is an advantage.
