Medical Officer – Employee & Community Health

About the role

The Medical Officer will deliver comprehensive medical services to Vikram Cement employees, their families, and the surrounding village communities. The role includes emergency and critical care, preventive health programs, and routine clinical support in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide indoor and outdoor patient care, including first‑aid and minor emergency procedures.
• Conduct pre‑employment examinations, annual health check‑ups, and occupational health assessments.
• Manage clinical laboratory, pharmacy, physiotherapy centre, and waste‑disposal processes.
• Organise health‑awareness campaigns, diagnostic camps, yoga sessions, immunisation drives and promote alternative medicine practices.
• Oversee child health initiatives such as universal immunisation, pediatric specialist visits, nutrition counselling and parenting orientation.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor, preferably a female physician/gynecologist.
• Experience in occupational health, community health or industrial medical services.
• Ability to work in a remote rural setting and handle 24‑hour emergency care.
