About the role
The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will work in a steel industry plant, assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and technical drawings to build, align and install plant equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
Required profile
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance.
- Ability to work on heavy industrial equipment in a workshop or plant environment.
Required skills
- Blueprint and schematic interpretation
- Assembly and installation of industrial machinery
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Use of hand and power tools for fitting tasks
