About the role

Aruna Promoters Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Marine Structural Fitter to join its on‑site team in Cheranallur, Cochin. The role involves assembling and fabricating ship components according to detailed blueprints and specifications, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Cut, weld, shape, and fit structural materials for ship hatch covers and other marine components.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to produce accurate parts.
• Inspect completed components for dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimise workflow and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following established safety protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience with hand and power tools, welding, and cutting equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and competence in material handling and fabrication.
• Understanding of marine and industrial safety and quality standards.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
