About the role
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is seeking a dedicated Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal support across all its activities. This position requires an experienced professional who can independently manage end‑to‑end legal matters and represent the association in court when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance to KSCA on a wide range of issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Handle litigation matters, including preparation of case files and representation in court.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in Indian law relevant to sports administration.
- Manage dispute resolution and risk mitigation initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum of 5 years of professional legal experience.
- Ability to work independently as an individual contributor without senior support.
- Proficiency in Kannada language.
- Willingness to attend court proceedings as required.
