Legal Executive – Contract Drafting & Compliance

About the role

The Legal Executive will support Serikandi Engineers & Consultants in drafting, reviewing, and managing a broad portfolio of legal and commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions. The role demands strong contract drafting abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams to mitigate legal and commercial risks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and standardise agreements such as NDAs, MOUs, joint‑venture, shareholder, subcontracting, service, technical partnership, framework, and master service agreements.
• Ensure contracts align with company policies, commercial objectives and applicable laws, identifying and recommending mitigation for risks.
• Assist in reviewing bank facility letters, financing documents, tender submissions and commercial proposals from a contractual perspective.
• Conduct legal due‑diligence on partners, vendors and clients, summarising risks for management.
• Support compliance initiatives, develop standard contract templates and SOPs, and assist in internal audits.
• Liaise with finance, operations, procurement, projects and external counsel, acting as the primary contact for contract‑related queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in legal drafting, contract management or corporate legal support.
• Experience with international contracts and cross‑border agreements; exposure to oil & gas, technology or project‑based industries is a plus.
