About the role

AIVES Australia is seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer to join its team in Kochi. The role involves providing legal advice and representation on Australian immigration matters, ensuring clients receive high‑quality, ethical service.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client eligibility for various Australian visas.
• Prepare, review, and submit documentation and legal submissions.
• Liaise with Australian government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Manage a portfolio of immigration cases and maintain accurate records.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Australian immigration laws and MARA regulations.
• Collaborate closely with migration agents and support staff.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best‑practice development.

Required profile

• Ability to manage multiple client files, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and professional standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with a valid license or eligibility to practice, preferably with immigration specialization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
• Proficiency with case management systems and standard office software; attention to detail in documentation and record‑keeping.
