Intellectual Property Counsel

About the role

Accenture is looking for an experienced Intellectual Property attorney to join its global IP team. The role will support IP transactions, open‑source software license compliance and work closely with senior IP counsel on technology, licensing and commercial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate inbound and outbound software and technology license agreements and other IP‑related contracts.
• Guide product and service teams on the use of open‑source components, assessing license risks, export controls, generative AI implications and security considerations.
• Assist in publishing proprietary code under open‑source licenses, coordinating with engineers, business leaders and IP stakeholders.
• Provide IP advice to internal business clients and support technology assessments, joint development projects and clause reviews in framework agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IP transactional contracting and open‑source compliance.
• Proven ability to work with senior IP counsel and cross‑functional business teams on complex technology transactions.
