Junior Welding Engineer – TIG & Orbital Welding

About the role

The Junior Welding Engineer will join our Multi‑modal Manufacturing Facility in Pune, supporting the production of critical aerospace components. The role focuses on TIG and orbital welding of tubes, sheet‑metal parts and ducts made from stainless steel and Inconel, ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG and orbital welding of stainless‑steel (SS321) and Inconel 625 tubes, sheets, air manifolds and ducts.
• Repair defective castings and fabricate components to X‑ray Class B quality.
• Interpret engineering drawings, SOPs, manuals and MOS to produce finished products.
• Assemble welded assemblies and conduct final inspections.
• Operate welding equipment and accessories such as positioners, bevellers, rollers and 3‑D welding tables.

Required profile

• Diploma with at least 2.5 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• AWS D17.1 certification for 6G position welding of SS and Inconel.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve X‑ray Class B welds on SS 321 and Inconel 625.
• Strong personal integrity and a safety‑first mindset.
• Experience in aerospace or aviation‑related tube and duct fabrication.
