Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our Bengaluru team, working on advanced IoT‑based Building Automation and Energy Efficiency projects for commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, field support and sales teams to ensure seamless system integration and project delivery.
• Execute start‑ups, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of BAS controls on assigned sites.
• Lead programming and on‑site commissioning of system and network‑level controllers.
• Validate complete system functionality and resolve issues with project engineers and subcontractors.
• Maintain compliance with internal processes and adopt a “first‑time‑right” approach.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech from a reputed university.
• 3–6 years of experience in IoT and Building Management Systems (BMS) domain.
• Proven ability to deliver critical projects under high‑pressure environments.

Required skills

• Control Systems and SCADA.
• Communication protocols: Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, BACnet/IP.
• Programming of BACnet and Modbus I/O controllers (Siemens, Schneider, ALC, Distech).
• Server, hardware, storage, networking, firmware and software integration.
• Design of Integrated Building Management Systems, including control logic and network schematics.
• Knowledge of Chiller Plant Controls and microcontroller programming (advantageous).
