Junior Engineer – TIG Welding (Aerospace)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Engineer specialized in TIG welding to join our Multi‑modal Manufacturing Facility in Pune. You will work on critical aerospace components, ensuring high‑quality welds on stainless steel and Inconel parts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG and orbital welding of tubes, air manifolds, sheet metal parts, and ducts.
• Repair defective stainless‑steel and Inconel castings.
• Assemble welded products and verify compliance with drawings, SOPs, and manuals.
• Maintain welding equipment, positioners, bevellers, rollers, and 3D welding tables.
• Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Diploma with at least 2.5 years of welding/fabrication experience.
• AWS D17.1 certification for 6G position welding of II A & III B materials.
• Proven ability to produce X‑ray quality Class B welds on SS 321 and Inconel 625.
• Strong safety mindset and personal integrity.
• Experience in aerospace tube and duct fabrication is preferred.
