Junior Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to join our production team. The role focuses on supporting shop‑floor operations, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in labor handling and shift management on the shop floor.
• Participate in shop‑floor planning and help achieve daily production plans.
• Supervise contract labour to maximise output without compromising quality.
• Motivate workers to adopt safe work practices and adhere to 5S standards.
• Support assembly of fabricated components and ensure correct interpretation of technical drawings.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and ability to read technical drawings.
• Familiarity with KANBAN inventory control and 5S workplace organisation.
• Good interpersonal skills for shift‑based operations.
• Willingness to work in a shift environment.
