Industrial Electrician – Plant Maintenance

About the role

The Electrician will support plant production and surrounding areas by handling all electrical operations and maintenance. The role focuses on minimizing machine downtime, ensuring spare parts availability and maintaining safe, reliable electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and integrate electrical systems across the plant according to SOPs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronics and instrumentation issues, including drives, PLCs, motors, sensors and related equipment.
• Perform time‑based maintenance on transformers, DG sets, electrical panels and utility systems.
• Report equipment performance and safety observations to the manager.
• Maintain critical spare inventory and raise improvement ideas for energy saving and uptime.
• Identify and resolve unsafe conditions, adhering to all EHS and company regulations.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Hands‑on experience with PLCs, drives, motors, transformers, DG sets, electrical panels and sensors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, basic instrumentation and industrial safety.
• Ability to read electrical parameters and interpret performance indicators.
• Good documentation discipline (logbooks, ISO records, maintenance reports).
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
