Senior Engineering Executive – Manufacturing Projects

About the role

The Senior Engineering Executive will lead engineering and capital‑project execution for Bars and Powders manufacturing at the Dapada Factory, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery within budget and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover, preparing specifications, RFQs and cost estimates.
• Plan and execute equipment installation, modification and capacity‑enhancement projects while minimising impact on ongoing production.
• Manage automation and productivity improvement initiatives to increase line speed, OEE and throughput.
• Oversee CAPEX budgeting, monitor project expenditures and ensure financial closure.
• Ensure compliance with SHE requirements, risk assessments, permits and LOTO procedures during all project activities.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors, evaluate technical proposals and supervise execution to meet quality and safety standards.
• Deliver plant infrastructure projects such as storage tanks, pipelines and material‑handling systems, integrating civil, mechanical and electrical works.
• Support continuous‑improvement programmes targeting quality, energy use and resource efficiency.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of engineering and capital‑project execution experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with equipment installation, modification and commissioning.
• Proven ability to prepare technical specifications, cost estimates and execution schedules.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors and cross‑functional teams on site.
