Ultrasonic Test Operator

About the role

Saab is expanding its defence and security production in Jhajjar, India. As an Ultrasonic Test Operator you will join the assembly team, performing ultrasonic inspections on raw materials and finished components to ensure product quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic testing on raw materials, welded joints, castings, forgings, pipes and finished components.
• Set up, calibrate and operate ultrasonic testing equipment.
• Conduct flaw detection, thickness measurement and defect evaluation.
• Interpret A‑scan and other ultrasonic signals to identify discontinuities.
• Review drawings, specifications and inspection procedures before testing.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate test records.
