Indirect Finance Senior Associate Specialist

About the role

BASF is building a new Global Hub in India and is looking for an Indirect Finance Senior Associate Specialist to support internal and external North America clients. You will ensure accurate invoicing, resolve balance issues, and drive automation and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate accounting of invoices and credit notes for NA clients.
• Maintain quality of key financial indicators and resolve discrepancies.
• Lead or support projects aimed at process automation and continuous improvement.
• Manage operational aspects of the assigned finance subprocess.
• Participate in audit activities (internal and external) and ensure proper knowledge transfer within the team.
• Contribute to global community initiatives and deployment of new tools and guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, administration or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a Global Business Services or Shared Services environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced global setting.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
