Financial Controller – Manufacturing/Automotive (CA/CMA)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance functions for our Indian operations within a global automotive MNC. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, robust budgeting, and full regulatory compliance while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, manage, and monitor the organization’s annual budget and forecasts.
• Establish and maintain internal control policies and procedures to protect company assets.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a high‑performance environment.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities, providing strategic recommendations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings promptly.

Required profile

• Qualified CA or CMA with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Proven track record in finance controlling for mid‑to large‑scale manufacturing operations, preferably multi‑location.
• Experience in the automotive sector, especially with auto‑components, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers to OEMs.
• Demonstrated ability to drive improvement initiatives and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of automotive production processes, quality standards, and supply‑chain management.
