Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to lead the finance and accounts function of a fast‑growing consumer‑goods business. The role will support founders and business heads across quick‑commerce, e‑commerce, airline and institutional accounts, driving profitability, cash flow and financial discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly and annual financial closing, including P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Prepare channel‑wise revenue, gross‑margin and contribution reports and analyse SKU‑, customer‑ and channel‑wise profitability.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasts, working‑capital monitoring and timely collections from platforms and institutional customers.
• Oversee settlements and reconciliations for marketplaces such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and Amazon.
• Account for raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished‑goods inventory, lead physical stock audits and reconcile with ERP.
• Ensure GST, TDS/TCS, e‑invoicing and other statutory compliances, coordinate audits and resolve observations.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant with 2‑7 years of relevant experience; strong Inter‑CA candidates with controllership experience may be considered.
• Experience in D2C, FMCG, food manufacturing, retail or high‑volume distribution environments.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, taxation, audits, inventory accounting and working‑capital management.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime, Zoho Books or SAP (or similar ERP systems).
• Expert‑level Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and Power Query.
