Assistant Manager – Budget & Cost Control (O&M)

About the role
As Assistant Manager – Budget & Cost Control, you play a direct role in keeping our Operations & Maintenance activities financially sound. You bring structure, accuracy, and coordination to a function that matters every day.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and consolidate annual and periodic budgets for operational entities and SPVs, supporting variance analysis and revisions.
- Process SR/MR requests accurately in the system and maintain PR tracker reports for site teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare sales orders for scrap sales, cross charges, and operational revenue with full supporting documentation.
- Compile and submit monthly provisions for SDILLP and all SPVs, coordinating with site teams on actual work done.
- Produce Budget vs Actual reports, incorporating monthly provisions and supporting cost variance analysis.
- Drive digitalization initiatives within O&M finance processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide backup support to the invoice team and coordinate across internal functions to ensure continuity.
Required profile
- Graduate degree with solid working knowledge of SAP B1 or SAP HANA and MS Excel.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in O&M finance, budgeting, or cost control.
- Strong understanding of budgeting principles, provisions, and cost control frameworks.
- Experience coordinating with site teams and managing multi-entity or SPV reporting.
- Sharp attention to detail with a consistent ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive mindset toward process improvement and automation.
- Strong communication and follow‑up skills across cross‑functional teams.
