Audit Manager – Lead Audit Teams in Pune

About the role

The Audit Manager will be based on‑site in Pune, leading audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio. This full‑time role involves planning, executing and reviewing statutory and internal audits while ensuring high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and review statutory and internal audits, including detailed examination of financial statements and supporting records.
• Lead and supervise audit teams, allocate work, provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify control weaknesses, assess risks, recommend process improvements and prepare clear audit reports and documentation.
• Maintain regular interaction with clients, coordinate with internal stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and firm practices.

Required profile

• Strong command of accounting and finance principles with ability to interpret relevant standards and regulations.
• Hands‑on experience in conducting financial audits, including audit planning, testing, documentation and reporting.
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
• Proven leadership, team management and mentoring capabilities, able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
