Financial Controller – Finance Controllership Lead

About the role

ACG, a global pharma manufacturing solutions leader, is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee financial governance, controllership, and audit readiness for its India and North America entities. The role will drive financial discipline, internal controls, and risk management while partnering closely with Group Finance and shared services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall financial accounting and controllership across multiple entities.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures.
• Oversee management reporting, cash‑flow and working‑capital reporting.
• Drive statutory, internal, tax, transfer‑pricing and stock audits.
• Maintain compliance with FEMA, RBI, STPI and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage direct and indirect tax matters.
• Review accounting controls, reconciliations and identify risk areas.
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Partner with Group Finance, Tax, Treasury and Legal teams.
• Build controllership capability and succession within the team.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a finance‑related degree or diploma.
• 8+ years of experience in finance and controllership, preferably in manufacturing, pharma or export sectors.
• Desired 10‑15 years handling multiple entities and audits.
• Strong knowledge of statutory, tax, transfer‑pricing and regulatory compliance.
