Executive Production – Assembly Operations Lead

About the role

The Executive Production (Assembly Operations) role is responsible for leading safe, efficient, and high‑quality assembly activities that meet customer expectations. You will oversee daily production, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives within Molex Capabilities India.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily assembly operations to meet production schedules, quality targets, and customer commitments.
• Optimize manpower, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and OEE.
• Monitor KPIs such as productivity, downtime, scrap, and schedule adherence, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Coach and develop operators, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects focused on yield, defect reduction, waste elimination, and cost optimization.
• Promote safety through adherence to EHS standards, 5S, and safe work procedures.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve production challenges.
• Support NPI, engineering changes, process validations, and production ramp‑up.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory traceability, and SAP transactions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production operations.
• Experience in high‑volume shop‑floor environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
