Director of Finance – SaaS

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on finance leader to serve as Director of Finance for our SaaS business. Reporting directly to the founders, you will shape financial strategy, support fundraising, and provide decision‑making insight to drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s long‑term financial strategy, capital planning, and scenario modelling.
• Lead all finance workstreams for fundraising, including model preparation, valuation scenarios, data‑room creation, and investor communications.
• Own investor and board reporting, ensuring timely, accurate financial metrics and performance updates.
• Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes, and drive monthly/quarterly performance reviews.
• Monitor cash flow, runway, working capital, and capital allocation to maintain clear liquidity visibility.
• Develop business dashboards and KPI reporting for revenue, margins, headcount, and customer economics.
• Oversee accounting, tax, compliance, audit, treasury, and financial controls in partnership with internal and external teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a SaaS or high‑growth technology environment.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into financial plans and to advise founders on strategic trade‑offs.
• Experience managing fundraising processes, investor relations, and board reporting.
• Strong track record of building scalable finance functions and robust financial governance.
