About the role
Recruit AI is seeking a skilled Final Accounts and CT600 Specialist to join their finance team. The role involves preparing UK statutory accounts and corporation tax returns while working independently to meet strict filing deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and review bookkeeping records using Excel and accounting software such as Capium.
- Prepare detailed year‑end schedules, journal entries, and compile annual statutory accounts with VT Final Accounts or equivalent.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600 returns and submit statutory accounts to Companies House.
- Communicate professionally with HMRC to resolve compliance queries and ensure accurate filings.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of experience preparing UK statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under deadline pressure.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Capium accounting software (preferred).
- Familiarity with VT Final Accounts or equivalent UK accounting software.
