Senior Associate – Client Insights

About the role

The Client Insights & Solutions team at ANZ seeks a Senior Associate to lead complex client analyses and initiatives for priority Institutional clients. This senior member will act as a subject‑matter expert in capital structure, liquidity, M&A, credit and risk management, supporting relationship bankers and product partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial, credit and industry analysis including capital‑structure optimisation, M&A assessment, financial modelling and sector research.
• Translate complex data into client‑ready insights, develop presentations and industry campaigns, and review financial models for accuracy.
• Partner with relationship bankers, product specialists and onshore CIS teams to define deliverables and drive outcomes.
• Mentor and coach analysts, ensure high‑quality client‑ready outputs, and promote continuous improvement across teams.
• Identify process improvements, automation opportunities and support a strong risk and compliance culture.

Required profile

• 6+ years in Institutional Banking or Financial Services with experience in capital structuring, risk assessment and credit‑rating methodologies.
• Exposure to Debt Capital Markets and risk management products (FX, interest‑rate, commodity price risk).
• Advanced financial modelling skills and strong understanding of financial statements and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and leadership capability.
