Business Development Manager – Admission Consultant

About the role
NxtWave is looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead relationships with Admission Consultants across assigned regions. You will act as the primary liaison, ensuring consultants are well‑supported, engaged, and aligned with our admission processes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with assigned Admission Consultants, serving as their main point of contact.
- Handle daily communications—calls, emails, and follow‑ups—to keep consultants informed and motivated.
- Coordinate with internal counselling, operations, and admissions teams to ensure smooth execution of admissions workflows.
- Deliver platform demos and business presentations to consultants, supporting their understanding of programs and sales processes.
- Supervise junior executives handling consultant operations, monitoring performance and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, generate operational reports, and analyze consultant productivity for continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, partner management, operations or relationship management.
- Prior exposure to EdTech, admissions ecosystems, or channel‑partner management is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Leadership experience in supervising junior teams.
