About the role
TechnipFMC is seeking a Buyer II to execute procurement strategies for assigned components, ensuring quality, cost‑effective products are delivered on time within a dynamic, global energy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods and services) to ensure timely delivery of quality, cost‑effective products.
- Manages inquiry and purchasing activities within budget and schedule.
- Ensures all necessary information is available before issuing inquiries.
- Verifies purchasing conditions for projects and escalates discrepancies to the Project Procurement Manager.
- Expedites bid processes and conducts negotiations with vendors.
- Prepares purchase order documentation and validates quality.
- Supports recovery of amounts related to back‑charges with key clients.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Strong negotiation skills.
