AWS Sales Specialist

About the role

Sonata Information Technology Limited, the domestic business of Sonata Software, partners with Indian enterprise customers in their digital transformation journeys, helping them adopt and scale cloud solutions and manage hybrid cloud platforms and enterprise IT security. It is hiring AWS Sales Specialists to drive AWS Cloud sales across the assigned region, with locations in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AWS Cloud sales across the assigned region, focusing on business growth, customer acquisition and revenue generation.
• Demonstrate proven experience selling AWS Cloud solutions to end customers, supported by AWS Sales certifications (Foundational and Business Professional).
• Assess customer requirements and recommend appropriate cloud solutions.
• Engage CXOs, application heads and other key decision makers to understand business priorities and articulate the value of AWS Cloud offerings.
• Collaborate with technical and solution architecture teams to develop and present customer-centric cloud solutions, including pricing estimates and solution bills of materials.
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers, prospect, generate leads and convert opportunities into deals.
• Partner with AWS regional field sales teams on joint customer engagements, prospect meetings and strategic sales initiatives.
• Work with AWS regional and partner managers to source qualified leads, gather market intelligence and accelerate deal closures.
• Represent the organization at regional cloud events, industry forums and trade shows.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 2+ years of AWS cloud sales experience.
• Proven experience in AWS product selling and cloud solutions sales.
• Good knowledge of the local market, customer landscape and business ecosystem.

Required skills

• Hands-on exposure to AWS Cloud platforms and related services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
