Associate - Planning

About the role

Myntra is seeking an Associate – Planning to support the Women’s Apparel portfolio, a key business unit contributing around 20% of external brand revenue. You will work closely with the Category Manager to drive growth, improve market share, and ensure optimal inventory levels for a premium fashion offering.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory and manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) by planning inbound stock based on Days on Hand (DOH) and Sell‑through (STR) targets.
• Create season‑level buy and assortment plans using past performance data and revenue goals.
• Analyze style‑level metrics such as ROS, sell‑through, RPI and RGM to assess performance.
• Identify product gaps and recommend brand or category expansions.
• Coordinate pricing (SOR/OR) and discounting with the category team to meet profitability targets.
• Maintain operational excellence across merchandising operations, inbound planning, cataloguing and discount monitoring.
• Lead process‑improvement initiatives to streamline the planning workflow.

Required profile

• Graduate from NIFT or another reputable institution.
• 3‑4 years of experience in buying, planning or merchandising.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and planning concepts.
