Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer – Front Line Manager (NHA Assembly)

About the role

Bosch is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer to lead the Front Line Management of the NHA Assembly line at its Jaipur Powertrain Solutions plant. The role focuses on ensuring smooth production operations for diesel fuel injection pumps and nozzle holder assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Organise production set‑up according to schedule, assign tasks, and follow standard procedures to meet SQCD targets.
• Conduct daily shop‑floor checks, record shift events (attendance, breakdowns, quality issues) and hand over information to the next shift.
• Track performance KPIs such as OEE, FPY, scrap, tool life and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Lead daily meetings with associates, cross‑functional team members, managers and vendors to communicate goals, challenges and progress.
• Engage with associates to address concerns, provide guidance and maintain a transparent industrial‑relations environment.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and support change management on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and shop‑floor standards.
• Ability to analyse performance data and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills to lead meetings and interact with all organisational levels.
