Architect – Full-time, On-site in Ahmedabad

About the role

The Architect will join M M Design Atelier’s Ahmedabad studio to create conceptual and detailed architectural designs for a variety of projects. This full-time, on-site position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, functional spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs, including drawings, plans, and 3D visualizations.
• Prepare and refine design solutions in collaboration with the project team.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance.
• Align designs with project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Support project management tasks such as documentation, progress tracking, and preparation of tender and construction packages.
• Work closely with other design and technical professionals to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in architecture and architectural design.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or eligibility is a plus.
• Demonstrated project-management abilities, including task organization and timeline coordination.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for interaction with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and interest in sustainable, context-responsive design.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD/BIM and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing capabilities.
• Experience with design and documentation software tools; basic understanding of software development and integration concepts where applicable.
