MEP, C&I, Safety & Planning Coordinator – Project Management

About the role

Colliers is seeking an experienced coordinator to manage MEP, C&I, safety, planning and documentation activities for interior fit‑out projects in Bengaluru. The role bridges engineering, construction and EHS functions to ensure projects are delivered on time, safely and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse MEP drawings, shop drawings, construction details and material submittals for compliance.
• Coordinate electro‑mechanical activities on site, ensuring alignment with civil works and authority requirements.
• Manage C&I coordination with architects and consultants, monitor progress and conduct quality checks.
• Conduct daily EHS audits, safety training, incident investigations and prepare safety performance reports.
• Prepare baseline and micro schedules, risk registers, delay reports and monitor progress against the project plan.
• Lead testing, commissioning and hand‑over activities for MEP services.
• Develop HIRA, SOPs and waste‑management plans in line with regulatory norms.
• Organise emergency drills and ensure proper permitting for contractor activities.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MEP/C&I) or Diploma in Industrial Safety/Fire Safety (EHS).
• 2–12 years of fit‑out project experience in a similar coordination role.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Strong understanding of Indian building codes and utility provisions.
