About the role
The Bihar Technical Service Commission is hiring a large number of staff nurses and nursing tutors to work in various health and educational institutions across the state. A total of 9,299 vacancies are available, including 9,130 staff nurse posts and 169 tutor positions.
Key responsibilities
- Staff nurses will provide direct patient care, administer medications, assist in deliveries, and maintain patient records in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Nursing tutors will conduct classroom teaching, prepare lesson plans, evaluate student performance, and support practical training for nursing students.
Required profile
- Staff Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council and the State Nursing Council.
- Tutor: Bachelor’s (B.Sc) or Post‑B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Nursing from a recognised university.
Required skills
- Clinical nursing and midwifery procedures as covered in the GNM curriculum.
- Ability to deliver nursing education and manage classroom activities.
