Formulation Chemist (Veterinary Pharmacy)

About the role

Kuronyx is India’s first veterinary‑only compounding pharmacy. As the principal registered pharmacist you will be accountable for every preparation that leaves the pharmacy and for maintaining inspection‑ready records.

Key responsibilities

• Verify each veterinary prescription and compound and dispense the medication accordingly.
• Maintain complete batch records, SOPs, prescription register and testing files ready for inspection.
• Coordinate testing with external laboratories and review results against specifications.
• Review batch records and lab results of formulations prepared by other staff before release.
• Supervise and train pharmacy personnel and ensure compounding areas remain controlled.
• Prepare the premises and documentation for Maharashtra FDA inspections.

Required profile

• M.Pharm or higher from a PCI‑approved institution.
• Current registration with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council (or transfer completed before joining).
• At least three years of experience as a registered pharmacist with hands‑on formulation work and QA/documentation responsibility.
• Working knowledge of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Schedule N, the Pharmacy Act and sterile/aseptic practice.
• Proficiency in good documentation practice (ALCOA+).
